# Volunteer induction survey

Improve preparation before the first volunteer task.

If nothing was unclear or difficult, say so. Skip questions about steps you did not experience; use not applicable where appropriate.

## 1. Which instruction was missing?

Answer: ____________________

## 2. Who could help with an unexpected situation?

Answer: ____________________

## 3. What practice would help?

Answer: ____________________

## Author notes / illustrative keys where applicable

1. Use this answer to locate the part of the experience that needs explanation. The example issue to investigate is: volunteers do not know the escalation contact.
2. An identifiable help role gives new volunteers a route when instructions do not cover a situation. Verify who owns that support rather than asking respondents to name individuals involved in an incident.
3. Identify a task or unexpected situation that the volunteer would like to rehearse with an authorized supervisor. Agree practice boundaries and the appropriate escalation route before the first task.

Interpretation caution: Feedback does not establish training compliance.
